ReBUILDetroit scholars from University of Detroit Mercy were special invited guests of Dr. Lonnie Jones, Jr., Internal Medicine, Pulmonology Specialist and Board Member, and the Detroit Medical Society at their April meeting.

Scholars shared their educational and research experiences while speaking about the ReBUILDetroit program.
The setting provided an excellent opportunity for scholars to network and gain first-hand knowledge from medical professionals.
In addition, scholars were invited to attend the National Medical Association Region IV Conference held in Detroit earlier this month.
The title of the weekend conference was “How Patients and Providers Can Survive in a Changing Health Care Environment.”
