ReBUILDetroit held a freshman Signing Day on March 3, 2021, to welcome the incoming cohort of ReBUILDetroit scholars on Detroit Mercy’s campus. The event consisted of a scholar panel comprised of current students and a photo opportunity of each signee in attendance. Airik Sanders, Program Community College Coordinator, and Recruiter organized the event to celebrate the incoming freshmen and answer any lingering questions for those that have not made their final decision. “This is a great opportunity to ask important questions, meet current and future BUILD scholars and celebrate with their loved ones,” said Sanders.
