Students and faculty prepare for summer research mentoring

Almost 100 faculty members from Marygrove College, University of Detroit Mercy and Wayne State University will provide mentoring and research opportunities for scholars during the 8-week summer research program.

ReBUILDetroit scholars completed a research interest survey and investigated faculty research interests through in interactive website earlier this semester.

Scholars selected faculty members whose research aligned with their interests.

Several “speed-pairing” events offered scholars the opportunity to meet faculty and learn about their research.

Scholars are expected to receive their research mentor in late-April.
