Wayne State President meets WSU scholars

Wayne State University President, Dr. M Roy Wilson, meets WSU ReBUILDetroit scholars on July 22.

Wilson has a connection to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Building Infrastructure Leading to Diversity Initiative (BUILD) programs.  Prior to joining Wayne State University, Wilson served as deputy director for strategic scientific planning and program coordination at the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He also co-chaired the BUILD projects and the National Research Mentoring Network.

Wilson encouraged scholars to take advantage of outstanding resources and mentorships that await them throughout the project.
