Amazing research experience

ReBUILDetroit scholars actively engage in authentic, hands-on research beginning in their first semester at university.  As part of the research experience, scholars present their research to their colleagues and are encouraged to share their research at regional and national conferences.

Two ReBUILDetroit scholars, Vanessa Lee and Relicious Eboh, from the University of Detroit Mercy attended and presented at the National Collegiate Research Conference at Harvard University in January.

“Honestly, I never thought I would be doing research and especially not presenting my research at a school like Harvard,” said Lee.  “I met a bunch of AMAZING people and had one of the greatest experiences I could ever ask for as an undergraduate researcher. So, don’t ever say anything is impossible because you never know what’s going to happen!”

Congratulations Vanessa and Relicious!
